Jake Dollery

ABOUT

2024 marked the 40th anniversary of Jake Dollery’s dynamic musical journey. It all began when he first stepped on stage to front a band put together for a college Christmas show. By 1987, he was leading The Dead Legionnaires as their singer and guitarist, setting the tone for a career defined by fearless creativity and genre-bending sounds.

Over the decades, Jake has fronted a range of musical outfits, including the quirky Jake & The Space Cakes and the rock/pop powerhouse The Fisherkings. In the mid-90s, he took a step back from live performances to focus on songwriting and production, before triumphantly returning to the stage in 2009 with intimate, soul-baring solo acoustic sets that quickly won over audiences.

Jake’s songwriting seamlessly fuses rock, punk, indie, and pop, delivering raw, honest lyrics with unmistakable passion. His latest album, Paroxysm — a high-energy, emotionally charged collection — is available now on all major streaming platforms and Bandcamp.

A collaborative spirit at heart, Jake has worked with a host of talented musicians, including Mark Summers, Charlie Waygood, and Neil Fouracre. His music has earned international acclaim and regular airplay across the UK, US, Australia, and Europe.

Beyond recording and performing, Jake hosts The Jake Dollery Radio Show, a two-hour weekly broadcast on Radio Wigwam, where he champions independent artists and fresh new sounds.

With eight albums to his name — including an electronic chill-out album and a compilation — Jake Dollery is a Radio Wigwam and ISSA award-nominated artist, continuing to create, inspire, and connect with audiences around the world.
